It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good bathroom is very nice and has lotion hand wash body wash and conditioner and shampoo everything you need wonderful shower super nice rooms nice, going down the stairs feel skechy and scary. elevator scares me like always, the front area was under construction but still was good. pool very cold but nice on the the photos their was a jacuzzi but wasn’t there anymore they should remove it from the photos. breakfast amazing but it was in a meeting room but it was still good I recommend this hotel
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean. Only reason for 4 stars is the pool area. The hot tub is filled in and the pool is cold. I attached an updated picture.
We had a good night here. The placevis accessible right off the freeway and the rooms are comfortable. It was a pleasant stay. It's also fairly close to lots of restaurants in Charlotte.

Okay I have a good review BUT its gotta come with some tips for future visitors. So the hotel is nice, and im really happy with my room. HOWEVER, you should bring a box fan or white noise machine with you cause the walls are kinda thin. My fan totally fixes the problem though. Oh, and the water in the vending machines is overpriced at 2.75 per bottle. Probably a convenience thing. Just drive or even walk over to the meijer gas station and buy your water there instead to save some money. Best of luck!
This Holiday inn Express is up to par. After reading some of the reviews on here, I was thinking to myself some people are really petty. Across the United States hotels are probably one of the most "under repaired" necessary things travelers need. So it goes without saying it depends on who the owner/s are and how much traffic and revenue they desire. I'm really happy to say that this place has made some improvements over the years and that's essential to a good business! I've stayed here a few different times and had mixed feelings about it each time. But at the same time I have seen improvements each time. This is 100% a sign of a "good" owner! And as far as the breakfast goes it's hands down the best in this town. You're not going to find another breakfast in a hotel as good as this one. They definitely want you to leave feeling good and not hungry! So 5 out of five! And keep up the good work! If I had one suggestion it would be to respond to each and every review whether it's good or bad. But thanks for the good night's sleep and the great breakfast! I'll be back
The rooms were clean, specious and also affordable. There's an onsite fitness center as well as a swimming pool. And the complimentary breakfast that they offer has something for everyone. It's was a family friendly environment and children are welcomed.
We had a great overnight stay this weekend! We checked in at almost 11pm, but were greeted immediately when we walked in. The woman who checked us in was so sweet and friendly! I was apprehensive because of the mixed reviews, but the hotel was recently updated and it's so nice! Everything was modern, clean, and fresh! The room was perfect. No issues with getting a good temperature like in some hotels. Super comfortable beds and big pillows. Even a mini Keurig coffee maker with coffee & tea pods! Dove products in the bathroom (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion). I loved that they had an actual hand soap pump instead of the little bar of wrapped soap. We were out early for a tournament, and my kids appreciated the continental breakfast. Great variety of hot foods that actually tasted fresh(bacon, sausage, eggs, veggie omelets, cinnamon rolls), along with the automated pancake machine. There was also the standard bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, etc. My favorite was the fresh coffee out of the automated machine. The morning staff was super friendly as well. They all wished the girls good luck at their tournament and told us to have a great day. We're on that side of the state frequently for tournaments, and the kids already requested that we book again for the next one! Having the Meijer right there was also nice so we could grab anything we needed. Highly recommend!
